Maverick Transportation announced driver Rob Cole of Anderson, SC, as their Driver of the Month for January 2010. Cole has been a Maverick driver for 2 years and began his professional driving career at Maverick.

“Rob is consistently one of the most reliable drivers in my fleet,” said Fleet Manager Stan McLean. “He is a pleasure to work with and a Maverick ambassador wherever he travels.”

The first recipient of twelve Drivers of the Month for 2010, Cole has proven himself a leader in the company’s fleet. He drives in Maverick’s Specialized division, has a safety award and has been cited for his professionalism by numerous fellow drivers and customers alike. Cole says being treated with respect is what he enjoys most about working for Maverick.

Every month Maverick recognizes a driver from the company’s fleet who takes pride in his profession and the company, employs safety, and maintains Maverick standards in all they do. Employees vote from the twelve Drivers of the Month and the Driver of the Year will be announced at the end of 2010. As Driver of the Month, Cole will also represent Maverick drivers on the prestigious Driver Advisory Council.
