TWO MAVERICK TRANSPORTATION PROFESSIONALS APPOINTED TO CHAIRMAN POSITIONS BY THE ARKANSAS TRUCKING ASSOCIATION

Two members of Maverick Transportation's leadership team were elected Chairman of various committees at the recent Arkansas Trucking Association's Annual Meeting held in Branson, MO.

Ryan Farrell, Maverick's Director of Pricing, was elected Chairman of the 40 Under 40 Council. This council is designed to identify, recognize and equip the transportation industry's future leaders.  Membership in this council is limited to 40 people under the age of 40 and members must by nominated by their companies to join.

Brent Hilton, Maverick's Director of Maintenance, was elected to Chairman of the Maintenance & Technology Council (M&TC). This is a natural progression from his previous service as Council Secretary and most recently, Vice Chairman.  The purpose of the M&TC is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and the discussion of current issues relating to fleet maintenance and technology. Hilton has also served as Chairman of the M&TC on the National Level in 2008.

Based in Little Rock, Arkansas and operating over 1,200 units, Maverick has 30 years of experience serving the flatbed, specialized, dry van, and temperature controlled transportation markets throughout North America.
